# Civics Meeting Minutes September 26, 2024

Committee note publication process

* The CCC agreed to a process for providing public meeting minutes.
* Meeting minutes will be published on the Intersect knowledge base, including the notes from the inception of the CCC.

Committee Compensation request and Governance support working group

* Concerns were raised about the volume and urgency of the CCC’s work until the end of the year considering committee members are not paid.
* Options for funding were discussed. It was noted that the governance support budget request will include a request for committee funding for 2025, and that there are some options to explore for 2024 funding.
* It was noted that there is no precedent for committee funding, and the desire to keep committee funding consistent across all committees, and to not create exceptions.
* Next steps for Governance support working group - raise this concern to Intersect leadership specifically for 2024 funding for CCC members’ time and continue to draft the 2025 governance support budget request with these concerns in mind.

Progress update: Constitution Ratification WG

* The working group update included a review of a community activity around the constitution - posts on [X.com](http://x.com/) and a forked Github version of the draft constitution.
* The CCC will check the forked Github version of the draft constitution for new insights to complement the Constitutional Workshop data.
* The CCC also discussed the importance of constitutional delegates as a means for gathering additional community inputs like this.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://committees.docs.intersectmbo.org/intersect-civics-committee/meeting-minutes/2024-civics-meeting-minutes/civics-meeting-minutes-september-26-2024.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
