Is there a particular role within the committee that you are interested in, if so which and why? (if applicable)
I am particularly interested in the role of sports chair within the committee. With over 30 years of proven experience in the sports industry, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of sports. Like many other sectors, the sports industry is at a pivotal point where change is essential. Nelson Mandela once said, "Sport has the power to change the world." I firmly believe in this vision. My goal is to focus on the sports community, leveraging my extensive background to drive innovation and technological advancements. By embracing new technologies and innovative approaches, we can enhance the impact of sports on society, fostering inclusivity, health, and community spirit, thus helping Cardano with mass adoption.
What is your experiences within Intersect and Cardano?
I came across the Cardano blockchain in early 2021 and have been an active advocate of Cardano ever since. I have worked as a consultant for NMKR.io as Head of Sports Partnership since January 2023 and I am also the Chinese translator for John Greene's book Cardano for the Masses, which will be published next year. I came across Intersect because of the Cardano Consitutitional Workshop and recently have been to the one in London, and it was fantastic experience.
What are your pledges and plans should you be elected?
If elected as a committee member in the sports field, I pledge to lead initiatives that leverage the transformative power of sports to foster unity and enhance the well-being of our community. My vision aligns with the Cardano community's values of decentralization, transparency, and inclusivity.
Promoting Inclusivity and Participation: I will work to ensure that sports programs are accessible to all, regardless of age, ability, or background. By creating inclusive opportunities, we can bring diverse groups together, fostering a sense of belonging and community spirit.
Leveraging Blockchain Technology: Utilizing Cardano's blockchain technology, I aim to introduce innovative solutions for managing sports events, memberships, and rewards. This will enhance transparency, security, and efficiency in our operations, setting a new standard for sports management.
Community Wellbeing: I am committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports. By organizing regular events and workshops, we can encourage physical activity and mental well-being, contributing to a healthier and happier community.
Education and Empowerment: I will focus on educational programs that empower individuals with the skills and knowledge to excel in sports and beyond. By providing training and development opportunities, we can nurture talent and inspire future leaders.
Why should the community vote for you?
I have more than 30 years of mega events management experience and also I want to devote my time and knowledge to the Cardano Community. My experience equips me to guide the committee in making informed decisions that will benefit the entire sports community. Together, we can harness the power of sports to create a more united, healthy, and sustainable future for all.
Do you have any other Cardano affiliations or possible conflicts of interests, including you as an individual or an enterprise you are associated with?
I work as a consultant with a focus on integrating sports projects into the Cardano ecosystem. My role involves assisting sports entities, personalities, and organizations in developing blockchain strategies. I collaborate with various applications within the Cardano ecosystem to provide tailored solutions for sports projects. I do not foresee any conflicts of interest arising from my current engagements.
