My history working across 20+ Cardano development projects gives me key insights about both core and non-core development practices, as well as how we need to improve things as we transition toward an open source model.
What is your experiences within Intersect and Cardano?
I have been serving as a voting member of the Membership and Community Committee, the MCC's working group on ecosystem grants, as well as the Core Infrastructure Roadmap Working group as a Co-Chair over the course of 2024. I have also been involved with the Product Committee and the Technical Steering committee to varying degrees.
Since early 2021, I have worked in various capacities to assist many Cardano businesses and services launch, and have worked directly with IOG to deliver core cardano functionality. I was also a co-chair of the Cardano Defi Alliance, and the Cardano Developer Experience Working Group.
What are your pledges and plans should you be elected?
For the Technical steering committee, my goals include
working with the open source committee to ensure that practices are implemented which help grow the number of Core and non-core developers/contributors. which includes a massive documentation overhaul
create stronger systems of accountability in delivery - such that the treasury funds for development are used wisely - In particular, ways to quantify value-for-dollar on research-driven or long-running projects
To create stronger transparency for the TSC in general
Why should the community vote for you?
Experience - I've worked with Intersect since its inception and have had the pleasure to work with dozens of other Cardano-based organizations, I have one of the broadest views over Cardano as a whole, and i am constantly in conversations with Cardano Users, SPO's, and businesses.
Do you have any other Cardano affiliations or possible conflicts of interests, including you as an individual or an enterprise you are associated with?
i am CTO at Mlabs.city - Cardano's premier smart contract R&D House and auditor. in this capacity i honor partnerships with dozens of cardano companies and groups. however this does not represent a substantial conflict of interest, as many of them are also part of the intersect membership.
