| ---------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Intersect Roles & Hiring | Lara expressed appreciation for Thyme's role bridging product and the GMC. Thyme noted applying for open delivery assurance positions at Intersect but experiencing delayed responses/auto-rejections. | Lara confirmed delivery assurance positions managing treasury withdrawal contracts are currently open. |
| Event Recap: Rare Evo | Laura provided a summary of the event in Rio, noting strong engagement and good leads across enterprise, Web3, healthcare, and medtech. | The scaled-down booth was successful, though the extra sponsorship for the leaders program yielded a lower return than expected. |
| Upcoming Events (Token 2049 & Barcelona) | Laura and Lara discussed upcoming events, including the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona (Sept 15–16) and Token 2049. Ellis will join next week's call to coordinate Token 2049 community selection. | Around 10–15 applications have been received for Token 2049, with room for more applicants. |
| Product Committee & GMC Alignment | Marco and Laura shared feedback on last week's session between the Product Committee and GMC, focusing on defining a capability map by vertical to align DReps. | Discussions are moving toward higher-level roadmaps and vertical mapping across the ecosystem. |
| DRep Research & Surveys | Thyme and Josi reported progress on DRep research, including a completed survey and upcoming 30-minute one-on-one interviews to better understand voting behaviors. | Josi shared that Twe and Intersect host a monthly DRep sync meeting available via the Luma calendar. |
| Product Committee KPI Survey | Thyme invited the GMC to complete the Product Committee KPI survey aimed at reviewing committee metrics and roadmap alignment. | The survey will be added to next week's agenda so the team can complete it together before the end-of-month deadline. |
| Meeting Cadence Adjustment | Lara announced that the GMC cadence shift frees up the 1:00 PM UTC slot weekly, which could accommodate members in earlier time zones (e.g., the Americas). | Lara will run an asynchronous vote on Discord regarding shifting the regular meeting time from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM UTC. |
| Capability to Adoption Paper | The team discussed publishing the "Capability to Adoption" paper on GitBook. Terence demonstrated how to create pull requests, assign reviewers, and edit Markdown files. | Lara will set up the GitBook change request and tag Laura, Marco, and Terence for final review before publishing. |
| DEX & DeFi Competitor Analysis | Lara followed up on Andy's DeFi vertical research and requested competitor market analysis updates for an upcoming session. | Updates to be provided during next week's call. |
| Quantum Resistance Article | Lara requested confirmation on the quantum resistance piece being drafted by Laura, Christian, and Fergie. | Targeted for release by the end of August; Laura to confirm status. |
| Developer Onboarding & Working Groups | Terence raised concerns about low attendance at the Developer Experience Innovation Working Group and inquired about ecosystem-wide developer onboarding efforts. | Laura noted CF/Bora is updating the Developer Portal; Terence noted OSC hackathon funding is currently on hold pending budget approvals. |
| Upcoming Hackathons | Laura mentioned two potential upcoming hackathons (Token 2049 and Munich/Germany in October) with potential focus areas on enterprise adoption, Bitcoin traceability, and AI. | Yoram noted new developer tools from Dix Pipe/Fed's team that simplify Cardano development; Lara will follow up asynchronously. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://committees.docs.intersectmbo.org/intersect-growth-marketing-committee/meeting-minutes/2026-meeting-minutes/meeting-minutes-08-18-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
