| ------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Meeting Cadence and Scheduling | Lara and Laura discussed keeping the weekly meeting time at 1:00 PM UTC following a cadence change from MCCM, noting that this slot allows US-based members to participate more easily. | The team agreed to maintain the 1:00 PM UTC weekly meeting schedule and update invites accordingly. |
| Token 2049 Overview and Timeline | Elis explained that application review for 20 Cardano projects to join the booth is closing, with participant selections to be communicated by September 1st followed by onboarding. | Side events, pitch competitions, and media coverage workflows are currently being organized. |
| Shortlist and Evaluation Criteria | Sinan presented the shortlisting of 19 projects out of 64 applicants based on key criteria: mainnet status, verifiable onchain activity, and booth activation plans. | Project scores were capped at 20 across four criteria evaluated on a 3-to-5 scale. |
| Featured Project Categories and Candidates | Sinan highlighted various candidates across DeFi, RWA, AI agents, stablecoins, and supply chain traceability, citing examples like USDM, Masumi, Block Forest, Palmira, 5AM, Photo Finance, Strike Finance, Minswap, and Hoski. | Projects were selected based on live deployments, real transaction volumes, and interactive booth activation strategies. |
| Treasury KPIs and Aligning Objectives | Laura explained that booth selection must support specific treasury KPIs set by EMURGO, including new wallet downloads, subscriber counts, lead counts, and 30-day post-event onchain activity. | Each participating project will be asked to track metrics using a standardized reporting template. |
| Token 2049 Logistics and Visas | Thyme raised concerns about international travel and visa timing for accepted teams. Elis confirmed that visa invitation letters can be issued through Token 2049 during ticket registration. | Lara noted a visa letter is required for Abs's application process. |
| PR Strategy and Media Announcements | Yoram, Thyme, Elis, and Laura discussed aligning project selections with overarching Cardano marketing narratives and leveraging major releases or announcements for PR. | Selected teams will be interviewed or featured in individual and bundled press releases, with a recording area set up at the booth. |
| Shortlist Review Process | Committee members were asked to review the full applicant list and shortlisted candidates over two days and leave direct comments on the shared document. | Official voting could not take place during the call due to a lack of quorum. |
| Node Diversity Workshop | Lara and Laura discussed planned node diversity workshops, noting a potential smaller session at Token 2049 and a primary official workshop tentatively planned for November in London. | Lara will coordinate potential attendance by Nick to represent Cardano tech. |
| Capability to Adoption Whitepaper | Lara updated the team on preparing the whitepaper for release on GitBook and coordinating with Aaron and Marco. | Review links will be sent via email to reviewers prior to publication. |
| DeFi Vertical Research Review | Lara shared a link to the DeFi vertical research document compiled by Andy and urged members to review and submit feedback. | Committee members should leave feedback in the document and inform Andy via internal chat. |
| Vertical Frameworks and DRep Survey | Thyme and Yoram discussed a survey aimed at understanding DRep voting behaviors and information needs to build standardized research frameworks for proposal verticals. | Laura suggested adding a question regarding alignment with long-term strategy/vision metrics to the survey. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://committees.docs.intersectmbo.org/intersect-growth-marketing-committee/meeting-minutes/2026-meeting-minutes/meeting-minutes-08-25-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
