* **Adopt an Iterative Release Strategy for the DRep Research Paper:** The committee decided to publish Version 1 of the research paper using current data to meet the two-week timeline, followed by an updated Version 2 once the DRep survey is completed.
* **Maintain Meeting Schedule:** The committee decided to keep the regular weekly meeting schedule active over the next two weeks despite upcoming event travel for some members.

**Actions**

* **All Relevant Members:** Finalize and publish the Capability to Adoption, DeFi, and Agriculture documents.
* **Thyme & Josi:** Continue writing and finalizing their research paper.
* **Lara, Marco, & Present Members:** Prepare a two-slide update (one slide on recent accomplishments and one slide on upcoming plans) for the upcoming Monday meeting.
* **Lara:** Bring the proposal for regular (monthly/bi-weekly) cross-committee alignment calls (specifically with the Product Committee, TSC, and DReps) to the secretaries' sync meeting on Friday.
* **Lara:** Share the results of the budget process retro survey with the committee via Discord and meeting chat.

| -------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Meeting Opening & Attendance | The meeting kicked off with brief greetings among participants. Lara noted that Laura would be five minutes late and informed the group that Phil Lewis from the Enterprise Adoption Working Group was unable to join. | Participants present included Marco, Terence, Wes, Yoram, Lara, Laura, Thyme, and Josi. |
| SCF Presence in Barcelona | Yoram shared a recap of Barcelona Blockchain Week. He highlighted that the Cardano Foundation (CF) had a strong presence, high visibility, a prime location, and key team members like Fred in attendance. | Attendance was small but consisted of high-quality industry professionals. |
| Balsa Project Launch Update | Yoram provided an update on Balsa going live, noting delay due to administrative, European compliance, GDPR, and database integration checks. The platform features branded Discord integration, sponsored transactions, and four cycles of learning with rewards/reputation. | Launch was targeted for today, but full rollout is expected later this week. |
| 5 AM Project Progress | Yoram reported that around 50,000 farmers are currently passing through 5 AM, with a new simplified website live. The team is focusing on delivery over lead generation, aiming for 100,000 users in 10-14 days and exploring integration into PepsiCo's supply chain. | Target is to reach the next 100,000 milestone around February/May. |
| India On-Chain Storage Initiative | Yoram and Laura discussed an announcement regarding a blockchain initiative in India in partnership with the local government in Hyderabad. The process digitizes agricultural yield certificates on-chain so farmers can access bank credit and loans. | The project is live on mainnet and presents a major growth opportunity due to India's fast digital adoption. A sync call is scheduled this week. |
| GMC Q4 Forward Planning | Lara framed the meeting's primary objective: looking forward to Q4 2026 planning, long-term goals for 2027, and reviewing unfinished Q3 initiatives. Thyme and Lara emphasized documenting rolling deliverables and potential blockers for the ISC and board report. | The committee agreed to prioritize completing Q3 deliverables extending into Q4 rather than taking on excessive new scope. |
| Inter-Committee & Cross-Functional Alignment | Josi raised concerns about committees operating in silos and suggested establishing shared tasks/goals with the Product Committee. Lara, Marco, and Laura supported this, suggesting bi-weekly or monthly cross-committee alignment calls (specifically Product and Marketing) and better use of Discord for communication. | Terence noted participation and scheduling challenges, urging individual members to take ownership of setting up cross-committee syncs. |
| Upcoming Verticals & Capability Mapping | Laura outlined upcoming content publications (Capabilities to Adoption, DeFi paper, Agriculture) and advocated for two new verticals: Government/Public Sector and AI & Blockchain. She emphasized the need to work with technical/product teams to update the capability map and address missing features. | Laura also mentioned ongoing work on the quantum initiative and drafting a treasury withdrawal proposal to secure marketing budget. |
| Cardano Brand Narrative & Positioning | Laura proposed establishing a single, clear narrative/positioning for Cardano to guide ecosystem choice. She mentioned pitching external agency Waxman and attempting to secure CF budget to conduct stakeholder interviews, surveys, and workshops. | Planning and execution would run into 2027 to align with 2026 GMC deliverables. |
| Ecosystem Impact & Strategic Framework | Yoram raised a macro concern regarding the committee's real-world impact on builders and dApps amidst a challenging market. He stressed the need for a cohesive ecosystem-wide framework and budget allocation model to guide where treasury funds go and how strategy translates into adoption. | Wes and Laura noted past friction in budget segmentation, vendor engagement (e.g., Scribe, Alpha Growth), and the complexity DReps face when evaluating technical vs. marketing proposals without clear RFPs. |
| DRep Engagement & Survey Scope | Wes and Yoram discussed bridging the gap between DReps and committees. Josi and Thyme clarified that their ongoing survey/research paper directly targets understanding DRep needs. | To meet tight publication timelines over the next two weeks, Josi suggested releasing Version 1 using existing data and updating it later with full survey results. |
| Upcoming Travel & Next Steps | Laura noted she will miss the next two Tuesday meetings due to the CV Summit and Token events. Key action items for remaining members include publishing current papers, preparing a two-slide update (achievements & roadmap) for the Monday call, and continuing work on scheduled verticals. | Next week's regular call was previously cancelled, future meetings to proceed as scheduled. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://committees.docs.intersectmbo.org/intersect-growth-marketing-committee/meeting-minutes/2026-meeting-minutes/meeting-minutes-09-22-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
