| ---------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Chair & Vice Chair Elections | Simo and Abhik announced that applications for the Chair and Vice Chair positions opened in the Member Area on May 25. The current window closes on June 1, and the voting period concludes on June 5. | The candidate with the highest votes becomes Chair; the runner-up is elected Vice Chair (contingent on acceptance). The timeline can be extended if the committee needs more time. |
| Leadership Roles Defined | Abhik outlined key governance duties. The Chair represents the MCC at the Intersect Steering Committee (ISC) and handles public representation and tiebreakers. The Vice Chair ensures operational continuity and covers absences. | Serving as Chair or Vice Chair offers excellent high-level leadership experience for career development. |
| Governance & Tooling Support | Abhik acknowledged that platforms like ClickUp can feel complex and offered to host a dedicated "ClickUp 101" training session for elected members. | The training will be organized asynchronously via the internal Discord channel. |
| Q3 Workstream Alignment | Sanjaya shared the Mirror board to review existing workflows. New members were invited to select workstreams matching their personal interests to prevent anyone from remaining idle. | Workstream choices are to be logged in Discord so the team can build a structured tracking layout in ClickUp. |
| Workstream Assignments | Members claimed specific areas on the board: Martin selected onboarding and participation; Olivier chose membership benefits; Anuj took ownership of the new Enterprise Plus framework. | Sanjaya and Abhik noted that members are permitted to balance contributions across multiple workstreams. |
| Communication Protocols | Sanjaya and Abhik reiterated that Discord serves as the only official channel for formal committee discussion, documentation, and voting. | Telegram is restricted purely to call reminders, retweets, and quick sync notifications. |
| Membership Value & Offering | Lorenzo introduced a foundational document detailing the historical context of Intersect's tiers, pricing structures, and persona analyses for Associates, Individuals, and Enterprises. | The document provides an updated framework to transition away from legacy 2023 arrangements. |
| New Membership Tiers | Lorenzo highlighted the addition of a new Educational Tier for universities/students and a premium Enterprise Plus option designed to enhance commercial perks and partner visibility. | Anuj will collaborate with the team over the next two weeks to flesh out the Enterprise Plus persona and fee structure. |
| Tailored Regional Perks | Lorenzo raised the idea of customizing membership offerings based on geographic region, noting that an individual member's motivations in North America may differ from those in Japan or Vietnam. | Members were asked to use the shared link to provide asynchronous comments on regional nuances. |
| Gamified Membership Levels | The committee reviewed a governance proposal to incentivize participation by tracking contribution milestones and tenure, effectively creating progressive "Membership Levels" within standard tiers. | This initiative builds on recent framework ideas generated by the governance working group. |
| X Spaces (Open Office Hours) | The committee confirmed the launch of weekly community X Spaces resuming on Monday, June 8. | These open-floor sessions are designed for constructive ecosystem feedback and member recruitment. |
| Intersect Insight & Connect | Abhik shared details for this Thursday's (May 28) Intersect Insight monthly meeting and the subsequent Intersect Connect session hosted by Val. | Abhik requested new committee volunteers to speak about their election experiences on the live stream. |
| Community Hubs Framework | Wilco expressed deep frustration regarding unaddressed feedback, unanswered Discord queries, and perceived "back-door" formatting shifts on the Hubs proposal. | Sanjaya and Lorenzo clarified that the Hubs framework was shifted into an overall event-based budget proposal to allow community-led events to get funded, reducing ecosystem friction. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://committees.docs.intersectmbo.org/intersect-membership-community-committee/committee-meeting-notes/2026-meeting-minutes/meeting-minutes-may-26-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
