Dear Cardano Community,
We are excited to share the timeline for the upcoming Cardano budget process. This process is crucial for shaping the future of our ecosystem, and we encourage your active participation. Below, you'll find key dates and information to keep in mind.
Timeline Overview:
Initial Proposals Submission: August 1 - October 21, 2024
Submit your project proposals during this period.
Evaluate/Modify Proposal Window: September 15 - December 15, 2024
Project leaders and committees can review and revise proposals.
Note: This overlaps with the submission period to allow for improvements.
Cardano Summit Presentation: October 23, 2024
The proposed budget will be presented at the Cardano Summit.
dRep and CC Socialization: October 26 - December 30, 2024
Delegated Representatives (dReps) will review and suggest changes to proposals
dRep Process (Net Change Limit): December 5 - December 20, 2024
dReps will define the "net change limit" for the Cardano Treasury.
Important Notes:
- All proposals must adhere to the guardrails set in the interim constitution.
- The budget will be denominated in ADA.
- Treasury withdrawals require a community-approved budget with >50% of active voting stake agreement.
