Governance Education Working Group

Purpose

This working group focuses on making governance accessible and understandable to all. Members will review and propose educational materials, resources, and initiatives that support DReps, SPOs, and community members in navigating governance processes with clarity and confidence.

Constitution Amendments Process Working Group

Purpose

To design a comprehensive Constitution Amendment Process (CAP) that is transparent, inclusive, and aligned with constitutional values. The final design will be presented to the Civics Committee for approval and subsequently proposed to the wider Community via an Information Governance Action for consent.

Establish the CAP Working Group and charter, set up communication channels, conduct outreach, and ensure broad community inclusion. Design and run inclusive feedback pathways, public consultations, WG meetings, and explanatory materials.

Deliver the complete Constitutional Amendment Process (CAP) Phase 1 Requirements Document, outlining foundational, operative, and technical constraints. (Due 4 weeks from charter ratification.)

Constitutional Committee Election Working Group

Purpose

Enable the Constitutional Committee election to replace the Interim Constitutional Committee when its term expires in September 2025 (Epoch 580).

Each Committee may freely establish working groups to study and address temporary work items.

  • Committees may invite any person or representative of an organization to participate in working groups. Working groups are responsible to report back to their respective committee or subcommittee.

  • Relevant experts (legal, web3 governance, technical...) are advising this working group

  • Members of the community can also apply to become members of the constitution working group to provide expert inputs.
