Governance Education Working Group
Purpose
This working group focuses on making governance accessible and understandable to all. Members will review and propose educational materials, resources, and initiatives that support DReps, SPOs, and community members in navigating governance processes with clarity and confidence.

Deliverables
M1: Foundations: Establish the working group structure, finalize the charter, and research existing frameworks and educational materials.
M2: Finalisation and Release of Governance Education Framework v.1: Deliver the first version of the framework.
M3: Community Engagement through Workshops: Host online workshops to socialize the framework, collect feedback, and engage attendees.
M4: Framework Refinement & Expert Review: Analyze workshop feedback, incorporate expert validation, and (if needed) revise and polish the framework.
M5: Final Publication & Handover: Formally publish the framework version 2 and support its adoption.
Governance Health Working Group
Purpose
This working group explores how we measure, understand, and improve the health of Cardano's Governance systems.

M2: REPORT: Create, refine and publish the Governance Health Dashboard KPI REPORT (Target EOY 2025)
M3: Create Proposal Evaluation and define standards: Confirm Standards and Phase 2 Proposal
M4: Proposal Solicitation:
Invite ecosystem teams to propose dashboard builds and assess their viability.
M5: Handover & 2026 Planning: Conclude with roadmap for the dashboard’s next development phase.
M6: Future improvements: Sharing knowledge, resources, evaluation and learnings
Constitution Amendments Process Working Group
Purpose
To design a comprehensive Constitution Amendment Process (CAP) that is transparent, inclusive, and aligned with constitutional values. The final design will be presented to the Civics Committee for approval and subsequently proposed to the wider Community via an Information Governance Action for consent.

Establish the CAP Working Group and charter, set up communication channels, conduct outreach, and ensure broad community inclusion. Design and run inclusive feedback pathways, public consultations, WG meetings, and explanatory materials.

Deliver the complete Constitutional Amendment Process (CAP) Phase 1 Requirements Document, outlining foundational, operative, and technical constraints. (Due 4 weeks from charter ratification.)

Develop the full proposed design for the Constitutional Amendment Process, including workflows, consultation cycles, editorial review structures, role definitions, and ratification handover steps.

Constitutional Committee Election Working Group
Purpose
Enable the Constitutional Committee election to replace the Interim Constitutional Committee when its term expires in September 2025 (Epoch 580).

Deliverables
M1: Evaluation: Conduct a thorough assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the ICC election process to inform plan
M2: Registration: Develop recommendations and tooling for enhancing the CC election process, encompassing candidate selection, voter education, and election procedures.
M3: Stakeholder Engagement & Transparency: Ensure open communication, gather community feedback, maintain transparency throughout. Circulate working docs among relevant stakeholders for input, incorporating feedback to ensure broad-based support and inclusivity.
M4: Rotation Strategy: Devise an equitable and effective rotation system for CC membership, ensuring diverse representation and institutional continuity.
M5 Handover Protocol: Establish a comprehensive handover process to guarantee incoming CC members are fully prepared to assume their duties.
M6: Future improvements: Sharing knowledge, resources and learnings from the CC election process.

Each Committee may freely establish working groups to study and address temporary work items.
Committees may invite any person or representative of an organization to participate in working groups. Working groups are responsible to report back to their respective committee or subcommittee.
