Adam Dean - TSC

Candidates Full Name

Adam Dean

Are you currently part of the committee they are applying for?

Yes

Is there a particular role within the committee that you are interested in, if so which and why? (if applicable)

No, I am not seeking a particular role within the Technical Steering Committee.

What is your experiences within Intersect and Cardano?

I have been a member of the Cardano Community since 2019 during the ITN and HTN phases where I was a stake pool operator, eventually running an NFT/Token minting platform (Buffy Bot), and then moving into community event organization and planning (cNFTcon, NFTxLV). Through it all I have contributed to the open source and developer ecosystem of Cardano where, when, and how I could.

What are your pledges and plans should you be elected?

My goal, should I be elected to the TSC, is to do everything in my power to ensure that the Cardano technical development roadmap is truly aligned with community priorities and that we take every action to welcome and encourage new and emerging development houses the opportunity to contribute to network development.

Why should the community vote for you?

I believe that to truly make Cardano a community-owned and operated ecosystem we must have community members who are willing to take up positions at every point and work to ensure decentralization and fairness of access with relation to funding and grants for development of the network and ecosystem.

Do you have any other Cardano affiliations or possible conflicts of interests, including you as an individual or an enterprise you are associated with?

I work for myself as an independent consultant and do advise or speak with numerous teams. I am a founding member and equity holder for DripDropz, LLC.

Are you currently in receipt of or previously received any Intersect or Cardano funding or grant?

I have received grants from Intersect to hold both membership and governance-related workshops and have received grants from Project Catalyst in the past to support some of my open source projects including: GateKeeper, CIP-88, Cardano Mercury, and others.
