What is your experiences within Intersect and Cardano?

My company Awen has recently signed on with Intersect as The North American Community Hub and is tasked with producing the 2024 North American Hub AMM.

I also hosted the Constitutional Workshop in Chicago and supported/attended the DRep Workshop for Chicagoland. I was elected by my peers as traveling alternate from the Chicago Constitutional Workshop to participate in the Cardano Constitutional Convention in Buenos Aires.

Awen received Catalyst Fund10 Grants to successfully produce events at both the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, WI and 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, IL, getting global press from MarketWatch, BBC, WSJ, Reuters, USA Today, Bloomberg, and Bitcoin Magazine.

Awen is actively developing creator applications using community and open-source tools like NMKR, CardanoPress, and Blockfrost to make marketplaces for permissionless p2p music synchronization licensing for metaverse and video games.

I have performed music and/or spoken at Rarebloom, cNFTCon, and RareEvo 2023 and RareEvo 2024.

I have won #1 and #3 place in NuCast x Project NEWM Music Video Contest.

What are your pledges and plans should you be elected?

As a committee member, I pledge to dedicate the necessary time and effort to fulfill my duties and responsibilities, ensuring active participation in all meetings and decision-making processes."

I pledge to uphold and support the mission and core values of the organization, making decisions that are in the best interest of the community and aligned with its goals.

Why should the community vote for you?

I have a deep knowledge of and experience in community building, organizing, and producing high-quality, impactful events—including for Intersect as the North American Community Hub. My work in fostering diverse and engaged communities across the blockchain and creative sectors has prepared me to bring actionable and directly relevant insights to the MCC.

My role on the committee will ensure the voice of the North American community is represented in the broader conversation at Intersect. Together, we will create an inclusive and collaborative environment that empowers every member of our organization, ensuring their contributions shape our strategy and success.

I will advocate for transparent decision-making, open feedback loops, and a proactive approach to member engagement and community experiences, making sure that the MCC's vision aligns with the needs and goals of all members.

With my history of fostering community-driven initiatives and my passion for ensuring equitable representation, I am confident I can help guide the MCC towards meaningful, lasting impact.
