Candidates Full Name

Jaromir Tesar

Are you currently part of the committee they are applying for?

No

Is there a particular role within the committee that you are interested in, if so which and why? (if applicable)

Committee Member: I am particularly passionate about governance transparency. I aim to ensure the community is confident in the transparency of our governance and am committed to addressing any issues that arise.

What is your experiences within Intersect and Cardano?

I have been a Cardano ambassador for about five years, primarily as a content creator. I also serve as a Catalyst community reviewer and had the opportunity to be one of the DRep training leaders. I maintain the local Cardano community, and we occasionally hold meetups with my colleagues—the next one is scheduled for October 2024. I have registered as a DRep a few weeks ago.

What are your pledges and plans should you be elected?

While voting on governance actions will occur on-chain, debates will take place off-chain. The Commission must monitor the locations and methods of these debates and provide or develop a suitable platform where all data is accessible. Ideally, this platform would allow registered DReps to debate among themselves.

Why should the community vote for you?

I believe I am a well-known figure in the Cardano community, dedicated to decentralization and governance. I would be grateful for the opportunity to continue this effort.

Do you have any other Cardano affiliations or possible conflicts of interests, including you as an individual or an enterprise you are associated with?

No

Are you currently in receipt of or previously received any Intersect or Cardano funding or grant?

I was a DRep training leader. I am an active Cardano ambassador.
